Album

Woodstock 94 is a two-disc set documenting the Woodstock 1994 festival. It was released during November 1994, nearly three months after the event took place. The album was released on A&M Records. The set features 27 performing artists, one song per artist. It also features the recording of both general stage announcements and some band introductions given at various points during the festival. Live Selling the Drama 4:33. Blues Traveler But Anyway 4:18. Woodstock '94 was an American music festival held in 1994 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the original Woodstock festival of 1969. It was promoted as 2 More Days of Peace and Music. The poster used to promote the first concert was revised to feature two doves perched on the neck of an electric guitar, instead of the original acoustic one. The 1994 concert was scheduled for the weekend of August 1314, with a third day Friday, August 12 added later. Tickets to the festival cost 135 each. Various Artists. Woodstock 94. Woodstock '94 collects one track from 27 of the artists that performed at the festival, which might sound fine in theory, but fails miserably in practice, mainly because the tracks included are generally terrible. Because of contractual agreements, the album is comprised of also-rans, obscurities and only a couple of hits. For instance, Nine Inch Nails shine on Happiness in Slavery, but who needs to hear Blind Melon's Soup Most of the two discs are filled with Soup, which makes sorting out the gems particularly tedious.
